The bench that takes the whole shift.

Every serious kitchen ends up with one steel bench that does everything. This is built to be that bench.

Top, shelf and legs are all stainless, so there is nothing to chip, swell or rust when the floor gets hosed. The edges are rolled rather than sharp, the rear lip stops spills reaching the wall, and the lower shelf clamps at three heights so a 20 litre stockpot fits underneath as easily as a crate of onions.

It weighs 19.6 kg assembled. Light enough to move on your own, heavy enough to stay put while you work.

Questions

Does it come with wheels?

Not as standard. It ships with bullet feet. Locking castors are an option at checkout.

Can I cut directly on the top?

You can, but a board is kinder to your knives and to the finish. If the bench rocks, check that all four feet are firmly on a level floor.

Is the splashback removable?

No. The splashback is part of the top. If you need access from both sides, choose a bench without one.

Will it fit through a standard door?

Assembled, the 1524 mm bench is 610 mm deep, so it passes through an 820 mm doorway on its side. If access is tight, carry it in flat and assemble in place.

How do I look after it?

Warm water and a mild detergent, wiped along the grain, then dried. Avoid steel wool and chlorine-based cleaners, which will mark stainless over time.
